Similar to a public park, the space is open dawn to dusk for passive use, strolling, sitting, gathering, and playing. North Coast Yard offers free weekly programming outlined below:

Yard Bar + Lite Bites
- Every Thursday: 4 PM – 9 PM
- Every Friday: 4 PM – 10 PM
- Every Saturday + Sunday: 3 PM – 9 PM
North Coast Waterfront Development Corporation and Great Lakes Brewing Company have partnered to bring an exclusive local beer experience to the North Coast Yard for the 2026 summer season. Beginning Thursday, June 17th, Great Lakes Brewing Company will bring its locally brewed beer to the lakefront as the exclusive beer provider of the Yard bar.
Host A Gathering
Interested in hosting a gathering or event at North Coast Yard? We accept groups of under 30 people on a first come, first serve basis. For info about events for groups over 30, download our Venue Guide. To fill out a request form for an event over 30 people, click here. Thanks for your interest!
Special Events
4th of July Fireworks Watch Party!
Join us at the North Coast Yard on Saturday, July 4th at 6 PM for FREE roller skating, brews with Great Lakes Brewing at the Yard Bar, flag printing with Zygote Press, face painting, food trucks, yard games and more!
HELPFUL TIPS AND SAFETY REMINDERS:
- Parking will be $20 cash at all lakefront lots
- All minors must be accompanied by an adult 25+. Event or safety staff may request ID.
- Bring water, UV protection and dress appropriately for the heat!
- North Coast Yard has a limited capacity. If the area reaches maximum capacity, staff will suspend entry. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
